"It was surreal that I had recently supported The Princess Margaret Hospital by participating in The Weekend and within a few months I was a patient. The services offered are incredible, the turnaround time on tests was extremely fast, no lengthy periods of agonizing while waiting for results, the staff was amazing and their expertise and knowledge made me confident that I was receiving the best care available. I now know firsthand that this is a worthy cause and I plan on participating in this event for many years to come."

Support My Journey

I am once again participating in The Weekend to End Women's Cancers for The Princess Margaret Hospital. I am willing and able to walk the 60 kilometres through the streets of Toronto and I am hoping that you are able and willing to join me!

Shortly after participating in this event last year I became a patient at Princess Margaret Hospital. I am happy to say that I am fine and I do not have cancer. But, I met many women who do, and I can tell you that they are receiving the best care available at The Princess Margaret. It was surreal that I had recently supported the hospital by participating in The Weekend and within a few months I was a patient. The services offered are incredible, the turnaround time on tests was extremely fast, no lengthy periods of agonizing while waiting for results, the staff was amazing and their expertise and knowledge made me confident that I was receiving the best care available. I know firsthand that this is a worthy cause, and I plan on participating in this event for many years to come.

I am walking because I believe that you and I can make a difference in the search for a cure for Women's cancers.
